Founder and Immigration Paralegal
Fernanda Ortega is originally from San José, Costa Rica. She immigrated to the United States at the age of 12 and continued her academic journey in California, where she completed high school and college and earned a degree in Political Science.
Early in her professional career, Fernanda discovered her passion for immigration law. She brings over ten years of experience, having worked with some of the most respected immigration law firms in Los Angeles County. Throughout her career, she has continued her education through multiple professional certifications, including paralegal studies, allowing her to deepen her expertise and better serve her clients.
As an immigrant herself, Fernanda deeply understands the emotional, cultural, and practical challenges that come with navigating the U.S. immigration system. Her extensive knowledge, strong organizational skills, and ability to work effectively under pressure enable her to provide compassionate, reliable, and high-quality service at every stage of the process.
Fernanda is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Over the years, she has built a strong international client network grounded in trust, communication, and long-term relationships.
Known for her positive energy, clear communication, and genuine dedication to helping others, Fernanda is committed to guiding individuals and families toward achieving their immigration goals with confidence and clarity.
Outside of her professional work, Fernanda enjoys spending time with her beloved dog, Cooper, practicing yoga and meditation, and continuing to build meaningful personal and professional projects. She approaches her work and life with gratitude, purpose, and a strong sense of service.
